I-90 SH-41 Interchange Temporary Bridges

Coffman provided civil, structural, and bridge engineering services for the design of two temporary vehicular bridges located in Post Falls, ID, for the I-90 SH-41 Interchange Project. The temporary bridges carry I-90 Eastbound and Westbound over SH-41. Coffman utilized contractor owned materials for the bridge design. A modular design approach was selected to minimize SH-41 road closures, which included prefabricated steel girder packs and precast concrete deck panels. Coffman performed multiple night shift field reviews to verify bridge construction conformance for the contractor and Idaho Transportation Department.
