Evergreen Middle School

Evergreen Elementary school needed an upgrade after 44 years of serving the Spokane community. Coffman provided structural and electrical engineering services on the over 105,000 sf of combined new and renovated space allowing Central Valley School District to increase student capacity. Complex roof geometries, phasing considerations to accommodate school schedules, and creative detailing to interface with existing framing conditions were some unique challenges for our team during design resulting in bright and airy learning spaces that can accommodate the modern student. In the fall of 2017, excited students returned to their new school ready to learn in a modern and safe environment.
