Delta Dock Replacement, Rainbow Bay Marina

Coffman served as designer of record and provided engineering services for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical design from schematic through final design and construction administration for the Rainbow Bay Marina Delta Dock Replacement in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The project involved the replacement of the existing precast 52 slip floating dock structure at Delta Dock, as well as the replacement of the plumbing and electrical service. In addition, work included an added wet standpipe system, a gangway, safety ladders, fire extinguisher pedestals, life preservers, dock boxes, and utility pedestals.

Coffman performed an initial assessment and provided an analysis to verify the capacity of the existing precast concrete mooring piles, the design of the finger pier layout, the gangway to bulkhead connection, and the plumbing, electrical, and fire protection design.
