Denver Office Adds Fire Protection Engineering Services

Our Denver office continues to grow our locally offered engineering services! In addition to civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering, we now provide fire protection engineering services. We are excited to welcome Julie E. Brown, PE, and Andrew Taggart, PE, two fire protection engineers who join a growing team of fire protection engineers across the company. They will serve as a local resource for Denver clients.

Julie has 13 years of experience in the field of fire protection. She specializes in collaboration with architectural/engineering teams to design and construct new and renovated buildings in the public and private sectors. Julie has worked on a wide range of building types, including higher education, K-12, entertainment, high-rise, hospitality, healthcare, laboratories, light industrial, residential, and aviation.

Andrew is a fire protection engineer with 14 years of experience in fire protection engineering, project management, and technical oversight responsibilities. Andrew’s work experience includes projects in various sectors with a focus on the industrial, manufacturing, and oil and gas sectors.

Our Denver office opened in 2019 with a small team of civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers. The Denver location represented a new chapter for Coffman as the first mountain west office geographically central to serve current and new clients. Our thriving local team now includes a close-knit group of multidiscipline engineers providing services to a diverse range of industries including energy, industrial, government, and commercial clients.
