Meet Latrice

Latrice is an electrical engineer in Coffman’s Dallas, Texas office. Her background includes work experience in commercial, industrial, and government facilities such as schools, military facilities, office buildings, clean rooms, medical facilities, and transportation designs. These projects have included various low voltage (600V and below) systems, medium voltage (13.2kV to 600V) systems, lighting systems, telecommunications systems, and security systems. In addition, she has extensive experience in military and government facility designs, sustainable designs, clean rooms, masterplan studies, energy conservation studies, and transportation systems.

Latrice’s experience includes working on electrical and telecommunications projects in the United States, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Bahrain, and Iraq. Working on international projects has given her experience in international electrical codes and design requirements for international clients.

Coming from a military family has given her a unique perspective on federal projects. Highlights in her career include more than 15 years of experience on DoD projects and several years of Veteran Affairs projects. Having heard the statement “support the mission” many times in her life, she approaches projects with that mindset and considers it an honor to have a small part in their mission success.

Her greatest joy and the most critical part of her career is being a mentor. She strives to help the next generation of engineers receive the information and skills to be successful leaders and technical professionals.

In addition to enjoying her work as an engineer, Latrice’s favorite pastime is searching for and enjoying the best BBQ in town. There certainly is no shortage of that in Texas!
