Liberty Lake Regional Park
Coffman provided civil, structural, and electrical engineering for the renovations at Liberty Lake Regional Park. The 4.5 acre site was redesigned to provide better accessibility to park features, including new picnic shelters, restrooms, and an ADA-compliant dock. The project also included new paved parking, unique stormwater solutions to accommodate high groundwater and existing wetlands, and utility relocations. The landscape architecture consultant led the design effort, coordinating with Coffman’s structural team for design of the unique picnic shelters, electrical for lighting and new power, and civil for site grading and stormwater. Many unforeseen conditions and a rigorous permitting process made the project uniquely challenging, but the Coffman team helped navigate the challenges, providing a great new asset to the Liberty Lake community.
