Meet Jeff

Jeff is the vice president and general manager of the Bay Area office where he leads and supports Coffman’s multidiscipline leadership team and drives business development with a focus on positioning the office as a preferred local engineering firm. Jeff empowers the Bay Area team to deliver innovative and collaborative engineering solutions that best serve our clients.

Jeff holds a master of science in structural engineering from University of California, Berkeley, and a bachelor of science in civil engineering with a structural emphasis from Pennsylvania State University (magna cum laude). Jeff’s background as a structural engineer includes more than 35 years of varied experience including seismic evaluations and retrofitting of existing structures, as well as designs for new buildings. He has experience with structural steel, reinforced and post tensioned concrete, masonry, wood, and light gauge steel framing for both new building projects and retrofit projects. His seismic retrofit experience includes performance based designs for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings using several standards and methodologies.
