Meet Ben
Enthusiasm and dedication are hallmarks of Ben’s leadership as the Honolulu office operations manager and structural engineering principal. He provides oversight of office operational functions, project management training, marketing, business development efforts, and manages the structural engineering department. His civil and structural engineering experience includes a variety of commercial, industrial, and military projects, and project experience ranges from wind turbine foundations in rural Alaska, to site preparation and structural design at military installations in Hawaii. His design experience includes structural design of wood, steel, concrete, and masonry and civil site preparation, site grading, utility and lift station design. His broad range of experience provides a thoughtful approach to every project.
In addition to managing projects and clients, Ben’s leadership also extends to mentoring others and building lasting relationships. Ben’s career started in Coffman’s Anchorage office many years ago, but he moved to support the opening of the Honolulu office and today, Hawaii is home. Ben’s commitment and guidance has not gone unnoticed − he has been awarded the Coffman employee voted Neil Pearson Award twice!
