Terry L. Wilson Battle Command Training Center
Some projects have to be completed quickly and this was no exception. Coffman designed within an extremely compressed design schedule following a Value Engineering and Planning Charrette. The project involved a six month design time and 12 month construction period for a $35 million construction budget. The USACE received an excellent award winning facility because of our ability to deliver.
This project won the United States Army Corps of Engineers 2006 Chief of Engineers Design Award of Excellence for a Military Training Center. It also achieved a Gold rating under the SPiRiT (sustainability) system.
