Eastern Washington University Interdisciplinary Science Center

Coffman performed commissioning services for the new 100,000 sf, $60M Eastern Washington University Interdisciplinary Science Center (ISC) that adjoins the existing 47 year old science building on the Cheney campus. The updated design replaced the existing teaching and research labs in the old science building with a high tech science center. Centralizing existing science programs into a single structure with more room for the growing campus population, the new building supports the biology, chemistry, geology, and physics departments within the College of Science, Technology, and Engineering & Mathematics. The project is LEED Gold, and the scope includes the minor renovation of the existing building at the connection points.
