Mr. Hussain has over 26 years of experience in the management, analysis, design, review and construction of major US and international projects. He has extensive experience in project team leadership on large and complex engineering projects. His special expertise and experience in seismic hazard evaluation and mitigation methods, including specialized technologies such as seismic base isolation and energy dissipation is internationally recognized. Mr. Hussain has chaired numerous seismic design code committees, published and presented numerous papers and lectures and has provided consulting services on projects worldwide. Mr. Hussain has actively worked on the development and review of the UBC/CBC, IBC, FEMA and NEHRP and other seismic design codes and standards.
