Dennis Firth has designed commercial and retail buildings, schools, healthcare facilities, office buildings, airport terminals, and bridges. His background includes the structural application of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood materials. During the past 23 years he has managed the structural engineering design effort for the Nordstrom national expansion. This work includes over 100 projects with a total construction value in excess of $1 billion. During this expansion his design efforts have included load analysis and design, seismic analysis, design and detailing for all design levels of earthquakes, contract administration and site observations.
