David Peden's background in structural design includes new facilities and renovations and additions to medical facilities, schools, and other institutional and commercial buildings, including several located in active seismic regions. His designs have utilized several primary structural systems, the most commonly used being steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. The use of computers enhances his designs, resulting in more optimum structural systems. He has expertise in seismic design of new structures and seismic upgrade of existing and historical structures. He has worked on projects with several jurisdictions in many states and manages most multidiscipline design efforts.
